·               QA Analyst & Software Tester – Cincinnati Financial Corporation – 

I developed Test Plans, Test Cases, System Test Results, daily status reports and managed on shore   and off shore activities, administered Defect Review meetings, Business and Functional Requirements reviews for the following projects: Updates/Enhancements and defects being added to the eClas system, 1/4 Filings, 3rd Party additions, Data Management and Automation.

Developed Test Plans, Test Cases, Defect Resolutions and Tracking for the Testing of the eClas System. The eClas system I was responsible for testing was the bi-weekly updates and projects being moved into the QA System. These systems

·               QA Lead/Software Tester – Fifth Third Bank –

Developed Test Plans, Test Cases, Defect Resolutions Tracking for the Regression Testing of Dealer Systems, ACAPS, Direct Scorecard, Safe Act Compliance, Adverse Action compliance and the Collections Web Portal for Phases 2, 2.2, and 3. These projects required management of on and off-shore resources.

My responsibilities include verifying the data being integrated into Loans are correct, that the forms are created and printed correctly, and to ensure that the correct documents are being created according to State, Government, and Institutional rules for various stages of the Loan.

·               Automation Architect – Innovative Process Administration –

I was responsible for providing advice on how to define the structure and execution of automated scripts using QADirector and TestPartner scripting software.   

·               Sr. QA Team Lead/Automation Architect – National City Bank –

I was responsible for performing the duties of a Test
Lead on the Teller Image Capture project. Duties I was responsible for were Test Plan creation, reviewed and executed test cases, and defect documentation. I also was responsible for defining the automation architecture, selecting tests for automation and scripting standards for this system and setting up the environment and hardware to execute the tests.  

·               Quality Assurance Technical/Team Lead – Baldwin & Lyons –

I was responsible for performing the duties of a Test Lead on in the QA department and Team Lead for Compuware employees, both on site and off site. I also managed 3 people within the QA project, 7 people in the automation project, and 9 people for Compuware. I was responsible for creating projects, users, roles and security for each of the Compuware products as Tools Administrator. As a QA Team Lead, my responsibilities were defining a test strategy, test plans, documenting test cases, manual test case creation, automated test case creation and standards, and management reporting. As the Technical Lead for the QA area, I assisted in defining methodologies and architecture for the IT department's automation solutions. Was also responsible for the build deployment verification and software administration for the QA Department.

·               Quality Assurance Analyst – Bank of America. – Developed automated scripts for load testing a Returns & Exception application. Maintained 33 machines in a lab for script processing. Created management reports for detailing the initial benchmarkings for processing rate, CPU and memory utilization, and throughput.

·               Quality Assurance Analyst – Conseco Inc. – Defined and set-up the testing procedures for migrating CARS 4.0 to 5.0. Responsible for creating projects, users, roles and security for each of the products. Also responsible for creating Functional and Test Requirements using CARS 5.0. Created test scripts for migration from QA Run to TestPartner. Performed user Training and Knowledge Transfer on all CARS 5.0 tools.

·               Quality Assurance Analyst – Conseco, Inc. – Performed Test Lead and Test Planner duties. Defined and set up testing project in AQW (Now referred to as CARS). Created Functional and Test Decision Trees  and assisted in the prioritizing of these requirements. Modified requirement document templates for client usage. Defined and executed Manual Test Cases and performed Knowledge Transfer on the tools to the client testing team. Developed automation testing scripts against AS400 system using QARun and QA Hiperstation Plus.

·               Programmer/Analyst – Cembex Care Solutions – Developed User Roles and System policies for the Administration segment of the application. Created the windows service application interface for incorporating AHC record transmissions into the database. Created the Prescription Label interface for printing patient labels on the local printer. Developed system wide audit trail required for HIPPA standards. Modified stored procedures, created triggers, and modified asp.net pages to incorporate these required government standards.

·               Project Lead – Tomson Steel Inc. – Created and presented presentation to management detailing the objectives of the project. Created a database application to allow entry of perspective customers. Trained management and employees on the usage of the application.

·               Business Analyst – Consumer Products Manufacturing  – Created an assessment for management on the Sales History, Sales Budget, and the product’s internal web site. Reviewed documentation, conducted interviews, sent questionnaires to business users, technical support staff, management to formulate the assessment. Conducted follow up meetings for additional information.

XML document to locate data fields and verify the correct placement of this data in the forms. Verification was also

necessary for documents being created within WKFS followed the established print rules for the State, Government

and Institutional guidelines.

As a Test Lead and Automation Architect, I reviewed and executed the current and future state of the Teller Image Capture (TIC) application using the client’s use cases. This allowed the determination for which tests should be automated. I set up and configured all of the automation testing machines to replicate the bank teller’s setup. I created the global shared modules, documented their usage, and set up the modular scripting architecture. This approach allowed for the “plug and play” of modules to fulfill the automated test cases.

As a Technical Lead, I assisted the client manager in screening resumes and performing technical interviews for potential new hires. I also configured and maintained lab machines for automated regression test scripts. I assisted in defining and deploying the methodologies and architecture standards for the IT & QA Departments.

As a Test Lead, I was responsible for managing the QA testing processes and assisting the client manager in department processes. These duties for QA included creating projects, test suites, defect tracking, documenting test plans, creating manual and automated test cases, management of QA reports and scheduling the tasks to team members. I also participated in Methodology processes for creating department wide standards.

Responsibilities included managing 9 people in the defect tracking process, using TrackRecord and later, ChangePoint, and 6 people in the QA processes, creating testing automation standards, and IT methodology requirements. I was also responsible for creating Test Suites, Classes, Procedures, Manual test cases and automated test scripting for Independent Contractors and Artisan projects. As tools administrator, I trained the client employees in using the Compuware tools and performed administrator duties to maintain the tools and users.

As a Team Lead for Compuware, I was responsible for Compuware employees on the client site which included insuring expenses, time sheets, and status reports were correct and given to management on time. I also communicated with the Cincinnati office to ensure the Compuware employees were up to date with current events within the branch. I also represented Compuware in meetings to discuss additional consultants being assigned to projects and purchasing of additional products.

Developed automated test scripts against an AS400 system using QARun and QA Hiperstation Plus. Trained the client’s employees on automation scripting using QA Hiperstation Plus scripting software.

Defined and set-up the testing procedures for migrating CARS 4.0 to 5.0.  Developed the Functional and Test Requirements for all projects using CARS 5.0. Initiated standards for utilization of the CARS 5.0 products.  Responsibilities included creating users, roles and security for each of the products, test scripts migration from QA Run to TestPartner. Created TrackRecord queries to produce additional Management reports through AQW. Performed Training and Knowledge Transfer to the users on all of CARS 5.0 tools.

Created portions of the Client Management Subsystem.  This subsystem was developed for the client information-gathering segment of the web site.  Developed the Activities, Household, and Specifications processes to allow all enterprise personnel to maintain client information.  Performed maintenance on the Document, Individual Client, Business Client, File Import, Print Mailing processes, using Visual Interdev and MS FrontPage.

Assisted in design and implementation of SQL Server tables necessary to fulfill the business requirements.  This included creating tables, views and stored procedures.  Developed component methods, procedures and properties, written in Visual Basic 6.0 that were deployed as COM components.  Worked with a team to produce standards for Web Development.  This consisted of writing templates of Active Server Pages to be used by all developers.  Star Team was used for software management.

Developed an application to access various reports from a report repository and launch their respective applications using Visual Basic 4.0.  Wrote programs that validate data tables, which are on an Oracle server, and are maintained through MS-Access.  Awarded a leadership role in the development and maintenance of major applications within the department.  The role included enhancing the applications with new features, ensuring quality and consistency of all application components, reviewing new methods and approaches for future phases of these applications, and to resolve issues concerning response times of the applications.

Developed and managed Change control processes for releasing applications into the production environment.  Responsible for assembling of the application into an executable and ensuring the quality of the application.  Designed and developed generic forms for looking up values in many tables. These forms were then imported into existing applications with minimal modifications having to be made to the existing applications.  Designed and developed software to maintain the Core Maintenance system. This application was written in Visual Basic 4.0, using Oracle stored procedures, and Oracle Objects. 

Assisted in data conversion from Metaphor to Oracle 7, using Access 2.0.  Performed analysis, design, and development for the FPDS System.  This project is a workstation application that downloads mainframe text files for importing into various tables within FPDS.  These files, from the General Ledger System, are used for matching against any user entered freight payments.  These matches are then exported to the mainframe for monthly general ledger processing.

Performed design and development for the importing and exporting of data files in the RIS System.  This project is a workstation application that imports text files from multiple applicant tracking systems.  Importing these files required data validation, error reporting, summary of accounts, and updating of multiple tables.  Importing included conversion of mainframe files, downloading, and loading the Access database.  Exporting included conversion of Access tables to text files for mainframe processing.
